People, method and evidence
Why DEALMAKERS
You are not buying an anonymous sales service, you are buying people who represent your offer. That is why the evidence comes first here – and then the method we use to turn it into conversations and closed deals.
On request we go through to the signature: offer, follow-up, negotiation and close within the price range you have approved. For deep product demos we bring in your specialists.
Looking after existing clients remains account management. Our focus is opening new business opportunities cleanly and carrying them forward.

Why this page
After the description of our services one reasonable question remains: who actually does the work? Timing drawn from data is something many providers now have. A publicly visible trigger can justify the first sentence, but it does not lead a conversation, it does not hear an objection and it does not decide when a follow-up question makes sense. That second half belongs on the test bench. For a first call, the direct routes are listed under contact.
A trigger justifies the first sentence. It does not lead the conversation.
Who actually does the work
Florian Weippert works his way into every project personally: target clients, offer, objections and playbook. He then hands over to a team that is put together from experienced freelancers for each project. In straightforward cases the work goes to that team directly. Team size is 5 to 10 people per project.
What that means for you: no working student sits on the phone, no rotating carousel works through a list. At the same time the founder does not make the calls himself on a permanent basis. For a sales service that has to scale, that would be the wrong promise. His role is to prepare and steer the project so that the quality of the conversations does not depend on a single person.
Everyone who calls brings years of their own B2B sales experience. They do not read out a script, they lead a conversation on substance. With a cold calling agency in particular that is not a detail: the work a simple call centre does not cover only begins after the second objection.
-
1. Onboarding by the founder
Before the first call there are target clients, an offer, objections and a playbook. Florian Weippert does this work personally in every project, because whether the later conversations hold up on substance depends on it.
-
2. Handover to the project team
A team of experienced freelancers then takes over; it is assembled anew for each project and runs at 5 to 10 people. In straightforward cases the work goes to that team directly.
-
3. Conversations with real sales experience
Nobody on the phone is reading out a script. Everyone who calls brings years of their own B2B sales experience and can place a second objection instead of delivering the next pre-written sentence.
Almost 20 years, every step first hand
The career record covers building, leading, training and testing sales. That is no substitute for examining your specific project, but it is the background to the standards in the playbook. Alongside it runs the work as a startup mentor, among others at Werk1 in Munich, as well as the collaboration with venture capital investors and their portfolio companies.
| Station | Role | What follows from it for clients |
|---|---|---|
| NOVUSTEL from 2006 | SaaS/telematics, team of 10, P&L | Selling and carrying responsibility for the business belong together. |
| Couplink Group AG | Head of Sales, team of 6 | Leadership, structure and market change have to work at the same time. |
| PayPal | Sales Manager & Trainer | In sales, performance can only be trained on clean execution. |
| Billie | Director Business Development | Business development needs a reliable route from conversation to pipeline. |
| DEALMAKERS since 2021 | Founder | The way of working is applied in client projects first hand. |
| S&B Strategy | M&A | A pipeline has to stand up to commercial scrutiny. |
| Startup mentor | Mentor, among others at Werk1 Munich | Sales questions can be answered before any structures exist. |
| Venture capital | Working with VCs and their portfolio companies | Sales is measured by the same standards as an investment decision. |
Evidence in detail
These figures show the performance environment our way of working comes from: quota pressure, leadership and hands-on sales work.
| Evidence | Value |
|---|---|
| Target attainment at PayPal | consistently above 200 %, in peak periods close to 400 % |
| Target attainment at Billie | above 150 % |
| Award | Spot Award as top sales performer DACH, several times |
| Couplink | company revenue doubled within 10 months, despite a declining market |
| Training | after internally run training, +35 % measurable performance increase |
| Client work | 20+ clients served from SaaS, consulting and fintech |
| Closed deals | deal sizes between 30,000 and 500,000 EUR annual revenue per deal |
The figures from earlier roles document experience, not a blanket revenue figure for your company. What matters is translating them into your project: a clear target group, reliable reasons to call and clean next steps.
Which part of that experience fits your bottleneck is set out in the service overview
Onboarding in days, not months
The sequence refers to the example set in the section The trigger decides the call and is there for illustration. The sequence stays, the content is written anew for your market.
SaaS, fintech, telematics, construction and infrastructure, management consulting and staffing: the breadth of industries does not replace preparation, it shortens the way to the right questions. First the target group is narrowed down. Then we break the offer and its benefit into wording a decision maker understands without a technical lecture. After that we collect typical objections, review publicly visible triggers and define when a conversation does not fit.
-
1. Kickoff: the target group
First the target group is narrowed down. Without that narrowing an arbitrary list appears, and every later phrase would have to fit everyone – which means no one.
-
2. Positioning: offer and benefit
Then we break the offer and its benefit into wording a decision maker understands without a technical lecture. The breadth of industries from SaaS through fintech and telematics to construction, consulting and staffing shortens the way to the right questions.
-
3. Objections: what comes back
After that we collect the typical objections. Anyone who knows them in advance can ask a follow-up question in the conversation instead of reading out the next line of a script.
-
4. Trigger logic: when a call is made
We review publicly visible triggers and define when a conversation does not fit. What is named in the call is always the single event, never a pattern observed over time.
-
5. First meetings: the outreach begins
Only once the language, the target clients and a verifiable reason to call are in place does the outreach begin. Onboarding is designed in days, not months.
The pressure never comes from the caller, it comes from the client’s situation.
Conversation management with evidence
A concrete trigger opens the door. After that we listen, clarify instead of countering, and steer the conversation with questions that make a situation visible. That way the pressure never comes from the caller, it comes from the client’s situation.
The foundations range from NLP and systemic conversation technique through facial-expression reading and social psychology to negotiation. What matters is translating them into a conversation that takes the other side seriously.
The voice carries the message
We are aware of the effect of our voice and do not sound like a run-of-the-mill salesperson. With downward inflection the voice falls at the end of the sentence instead of rising: „Then we speak on Tuesday at ten.“ becomes a calm statement rather than a request for permission. Chris Voss calls this slow delivery, falling at the end of the sentence, the „late-night FM DJ voice“; it lowers resistance before the content takes effect.
For a team that wants to build this craft itself, we combine the work with B2B sales training. In outsourced sales we put the same conversation quality into practice operationally. Both routes are described in the service overview.
Anyone can claim conversation management. We can look it up.
The method is written down
Anyone can claim conversation management. We can look it up. 383 pages: The Magic of Sales – Emotional Resonance® is the handbook our conversations come from – from the first sentence through the needs question and handling objections to the negotiation.
The book was never in the shops. It is not a publishing project but an attempt to order almost twenty years of sales practice so that it can be passed on: to the people who make our calls, and to the teams we train. That is why it also sets out at length what does not work.
The book is not for sale. Anyone who books training with us receives it as well – as a reference work for the time after the training day.
What that means for you: if you ask why a call was led one way and not another, you get a reason from us rather than an opinion. And when we train your team, we train from an ordered system, not from a pile of slides.
What you keep when we leave
We document the target group, the reasons to call, the objection library and the follow-up process so that your own sales work can pick up from it. On request we train your team on the actual conversations, not on abstract slide logic.
What remains from our work is a usable playbook – and not just an export of contacts marked as done. If the question is one of structure rather than extra capacity, we start with sales consulting.
-
1. Target group
Documented is which companies qualify and which expressly do not. That is the basis against which every later list can be measured.
-
2. Reasons to call
Recorded is which publicly visible trigger carries a call in your market and how the first sentence about it sounds, without naming an observed pattern.
-
3. Objection library
Collected is what actually comes back in your market – and which follow-up question comes next, instead of a pre-written counter-argument.
-
4. Follow-up process
Described is when the next step is due and what marks a contact as closed. On request we train your team on exactly these conversations.
Whether your plan lacks capacity or structure is something we clarify in the first call
Signal Based Selling
The trigger decides the call
If you have never come across the term: what is meant is a simple reversal. The usual approach is to work through a target list from top to bottom – who you reach is decided by the order of the list. We turn that around and wait for an event that becomes publicly visible at a company we want to work with. Only then do we call. The plain description is outreach based on a concrete occasion.
The difference is not a question of wording. With a list the moment is random, and random usually means: no current topic. With a trigger the company is already dealing with the very subject we want to talk about.
Our central sales intelligence system analyses millions of sources carrying relevant data. It recognises more than 40 types of trigger – and if it has to be 100, it is 100.
Signal Based Selling supplies the trigger; the conversation management turns it into a concrete test of whether an exchange makes sense.
This is what it looks like in practice: on the left, what has changed
publicly out there lights up. On the right is what it means and why a call makes sense now
rather than at some point.
How this works →
A publicly visible signal is simply a concrete occasion – a posted vacancy, a new site or a product announcement – examples, not a closing list. “You posted two roles in Vienna last week. How are you organising the outreach for the new market?” is one possible opening. “Your new product line has been announced publicly. Who is responsible for making the first conversations happen?” is a second.
The events we use come exclusively from publicly accessible sources. In the conversation we name only the concrete occasion, never a pattern observed over a longer period. That keeps the opening comprehensible and stops it feeling like surveillance.
How it usually goes
Opening without a trigger
- Us“Good morning, we support companies with their B2B sales. Do you have two minutes for me?”
- Them“Thanks, not interested.”
Call ended
How it goes with us
Opening with a trigger
- Us“You posted two roles in Vienna last week. How are you organising the outreach for the new market?”
- Them“That is my decision. Why do you ask?”
- Us“Because those first conversations are exactly what we do. May I ask you two short questions about it?”
- Them“Go ahead.”
Conversation continues
Example conversation. Reconstructed in substance, not recorded word for word.
Eight examples from a signal set
The table below is an example set, not a product list and not a complete enumeration. Every project gets its own set – with the triggers that actually mean something in your market.
| Publicly visible signal | What it usually means | Typical time window |
|---|---|---|
| First head of sales role advertised | Sales is being organised as a task of its own. | 1–3 months |
| Roles posted for a new country market | Market entry needs conversations and structure. | 2–8 weeks |
| New site announced | Processes and responsibilities are being redistributed. | 1–4 months |
| Exhibitor profile at a new trade fair | A market or target group is being worked actively. | 4 weeks before to 6 weeks after the fair |
| New product page with a fixed launch date | A basis for conversations has to exist by that date. | until the date |
| New partner programme published | New sales channels or multipliers are being sought. | 1–3 months |
| New managing director or head of sales introduced | Tasks and priorities are reset early. | first 90 days |
| Public tender with a deadline | A concrete requirement has a defined date. | until the deadline |
This is an example set. The individual configuration is our work. In principle anything that is publicly visible somewhere can serve as a trigger: a job advert, a press release, the commercial register, a trade fair appearance, a podcast, a post in a career network, a changed pricing page or a new certification.

Frequently asked questions
Who actually makes the calls for us?
Every project is called by a team of experienced B2B freelancers from our network. Florian Weippert works his way into target clients, offer, objections and playbook personally and runs the handover. In straightforward cases the team starts directly. We do not use people briefed at short notice or an anonymous call centre.
Does the founder make the calls himself?
The founder does not make the calls himself on a permanent basis. His task is the onboarding, sharpening the conversation management and steering the playbook. That keeps the experience inside the project without your result depending on a single person. Who calls operationally is clearly defined as part of the project team before the start.
What makes you different from a call centre?
A call centre usually works with shifts, short briefings and a script. At DEALMAKERS people with their own B2B sales experience lead the conversations on substance. They can place an objection, ask a follow-up question and close cleanly. Before every call there is also a publicly visible trigger instead of a bought list.
You quote target attainment above 200 % – does that apply to our revenue?
No. The figures are personal target attainment from earlier employed sales roles and not a revenue forecast for your company. They document the context in which the conversation management was formed: quota pressure, real rejections and B2B sales that need explaining. What is agreed are traceable activities, clean conversations and meetings with decision makers.
Where do the figures on this page come from?
The figures come from the roles listed in the career record and from sales and training work carried out personally. They are not added-up client results of DEALMAKERS. That is why we place them in context on this page, instead of turning an earlier target attainment into a promise for a later assignment.
Do you also work in industries you do not yet know?
Yes, if the offer, the target client and the benefit are clear enough to make them concrete in a conversation. The range so far reaches from SaaS and fintech to telematics, construction and infrastructure, consulting and staffing. In the first few days we test language, objections and triggers. We do not take on a product without a clear benefit.
How long does onboarding take until the first conversations run?
Onboarding is designed in days, not months. First the target group, the offer and the exclusion criteria are set. Then follow the objection library, the trigger logic, the conversation opening and a joint review of the first cases. Only when these foundations hold does the outreach begin. A fixed start date is agreed per project.
Do you take on B2C calling without consent?
We do not take on B2C telephone advertising without consent. Our work is aimed at B2B conversations with a concrete, factually fitting trigger. Before every project we clarify the target group, the offer and the permissible scope of the conversation.
What happens if the agreed targets are not reached?
Then we do not argue with a figure from the past; the route is reviewed in a traceable way: target clients, triggers, reachability, how the conversations ran and the quality of the meetings. The playbook is documented, so it is possible to see where the assumption does not hold. We do not give a revenue guarantee; transparent work and a clean review we do.
How do we start?
In a first call we clarify the offer, the target clients, the sales capacity you already have and the question of whether external capacity is the right answer at all. If it fits, a kickoff follows with positioning, objections and first triggers. If it does not fit, we say so before the project starts. You can arrange a slot by phone, email or calendar.
Thirty minutes are enough for an honest review.
We clarify the offer, the target clients and the question of whether we are the right choice. Phone, email and calendar are open to you directly.
